Vanessa Clark
Chase Sinclair Clark, combines the former practices of Chase and Partners, which spanned 25 years and Sinclair Clark which operated for 13 years. The combined practice was formed on 1st October 2022.
Vanessa Clark is the current Managing Partner.
Prior to forming Sinclair Clark in 2010 Vanessa was a director of JLL, and Chair of the East London Business team at Canary Wharf working directly with Andrew Gould the CEO at that time.
In 2010 amidst the financial recession Vanessa Formed Sinclair Clark and continued working on projects such as BEST Network the brand name given to of six MAR’S owned science parks across the country. Vanessa developed a specialism in south London and continues to advise on numerous office projects in Croydon.
Chase Sinclair Clark continues to advise Urban and Civic on the commercial content of numerous land projects recently attracting David Lloyd Leisure to Altira Park in Herne Bay and St Neots.
Occupier advice is an additional focus and Chase Sinclair Clark advises continues to work on behalf of SGP/Betway in Camden and across other locations in the UK and Channel Islands.
Vanessa is a board member of Develop Croydon works on a cross section of office lettings, occupier consultancy advice, development, and general consultancy in the town and in the adjacent borough of Sutton.
Vanessa is a founder member and director of the Property Hub London (PHL) a co-operative group which operates a desk sharing scheme and collaborative work with like-minded colleagues in Market Place W1 and this is also the base for Chase Sinclair Clark.CSC.

Graham F Chase is the former Chairman of Chase and Partners LLP and he now works closely within the Chase Sinclair Clark team.
He is a Fellow & Past President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Chartered Arbitrator, Past President and current Chairman of the Association of Town & City Management, a Freeman of the City of London, Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors, Member of the Court of the Worshipful Company of Arbitrators, a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, Past Chairman of the Covent Garden Area Trust, the Honorary Surveyor to the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and Chairman of the Commonwealth Housing Trust.
In his 44-year career he has advised the private sector on the letting and funding of retail and leisure schemes with a combined value of over £10billion, advised on the development of some 150 shopping centres, leisure centres, retail parks and other commercial property products and advised central Government and over 40 Local authorities on policy and other property-based issues.
In the past 10 years he has advised on a wide cross section of property sectors in most areas of business and looks after a select cadre of retained clients in respect of their property portfolios and activities including retail, leisure, offices, industrial/logistics and residential land. He also sits as an arbitrator on a variety of property disputes, is an Independent Expert and appears as an Expert Witness in the High Court, Property Tribunals and Planning Public Inquiries.
Graham is also a former Professor of Westminster University having provided lectures on a frequent basis until recently.
Graham’s areas of expertise are: Arbitration, Dispute Resolution and Valuation.
James Clark is a partner of Chase Sinclair Clark having originally joined Chase and Partners in September 2016 and completed an MSc in real estate development at Westminster University graduating in September 2017. His Bachelor of Science degree in Geography was gained at Loughborough University.
James works closely with both Graham Chase assisting on a wide range of professional instructions and alongside Vanessa Clark across agency, occupier and development projects across Central London, the south east. And more recently the Channel Islands
James advised Helping Hands in the South East of the UK and London acquiring over 15 stores over the last 2 years with the most recent acquisitions in Hertford and Ramsgate. James has been instrumental in letting offices in the West End, negotiating CPO claims with HS2 and assisting on a number of valuations exercises including a former BHS unit in Cribbs Mall, Bristol and an industrial site in Willesden.
More recent instructions consist of rent reviews on commercial properties located in Mayfair on behalf of the Landlord, working with Local Authorities on town centre redevelopments such as Redhill and assisting on Expert Witness instructions in relation to lease renewals and determining ‘Open Market Values’.
James plays Hockey for Richmond Hockey Club and most recently has been picked for the Men’s 1st side.
Our consultant Keith Nelson has now retired from Chase Sinclair Clark.
