Weaver’s Wharf, Kidderminster resulted from the redevelopment of the former Brinton’s Carpet factory on an 18 acre site in the centre of the town. Chase & Partners advised developer Centros, who were working with Wyre Forest District Council and Brinton’s Limited throughout the development process.

Phase 1 was sold to Tesco for a food store, whilst Phase 2 created 400,000 sq ft of retail accommodation which was let to tenants including Marks & Spencer, Next, New Look, Sports Direct, TK Maxx and Greggs. A new 600 space car park and new bus station were also created.

We advised Centros on the tender process, design, letting, land sale and funding. The development won a BCSC Gold Award in 2004.
